Cambridge Commons

Milwaukee, WI
Precast concrete helps provide the underground parking for the three building Cambridge Commons on the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee campus. Precast is also used at the first level of the building, providing high floor to ceiling heights for the commercial space at street level and separation from the residential area above. Many of the structural precast components are exposed and add to the interior design. The use of precast concrete helped this building, which houses 700 students, achieve LEED Gold Certification.
