Director of Safety and Human Resources
Accomplishments
Growing my family with my high school crush (AKA husband) has been my greatest accomplishment. We welcomed our daughter in 2022 and our son in 2024. Transitioning from wife, to mom, to working mom has been a great challenge, and I’m so grateful that I have the opportunity to come to work every day, contribute to an amazing team at Mid-States, and support my family.
Off the Clock
I’m never really off the clock anymore -- #momlife! I love spending time with my family and our huge extended family. I have a golden retriever, Orla, who I’m out playing fetch with almost every night.
Secret Life
Growing up, I was a competitive Scottish Highland Dancer. My dad played the bagpipes and we performed around town in what we called “The Bob and Hannah Show.”

Over the last year, we have done a lot of work connecting with local community organizations and schools to build opportunities to promote manufacturing and workforce development for Mid-States and the Stateline Region.
Extracurricular

Off the Clock
We are in our second year of gardening and acquired six hens a few months back. Fun fact: Chickens are surprisingly social creatures. When we are not shuttling our boys about, you will find me reading in the backyard. This last year I reconnected with the fantasy genre and have been working through works by: Sanderson, Jordan, Lawhead, and Jones.

Accomplishments
Over the past year, I’ve been deeply engaged with our HR department at Mid-States, taking on a range of responsibilities and gaining valuable insights. I find great satisfaction in supporting my colleagues and team members. The opportunity to contribute to such a dynamic team at Mid-States is something I’m truly grateful for.
Off the Clock
When I’m not at work, you’ll often find me immersed in my other passions. I’m renovating my new home and cherish the time I spend with my friends and family. My love for cars is a significant part of my life, and I frequently attend car shows and racing events. I also enjoy supporting local bands and exploring new breweries, which always adds a touch of excitement to my free time.
Secret Life
In 2013, I was featured on ESPN for my participation in Go-Kart racing at Sugar River Raceway. The interview highlighted Danica Patrick’s impact on female racers, marking a significant milestone in my racing journey. Additionally, my Go-Kart from my dirt oval racing days in 2016 is proudly displayed at the Historical Auto Attractions Museum in Roscoe, Illinois, showcasing my dedication and accomplishments in the sport.
